School Volleyball Information:

The School Volleyball League is a school-based League for students from years 5 - 13. This League is the largest with around 55 teams playing at ILT Stadium Southland every Wednesday during Terms 1, 3 & 4. We have multiple grades on offer to suit all our players. We pride ourselves in knowing we have a safe and happy environment where our players, coaches, managers, referees, volunteers, staff, whanau and friends feel welcome. 

We offer double games each fortnight for schools outside the Invercargill area to help lessen travel time and cost. If you wish to take us up on this offer, please contact us via email at info@volleysouth.org.nz. Please refer to our school's handbook for in-depth information.

Dates to look out for in 2024:

Term 1 2024- Starts between Monday 29 January (at the earliest); and Wednesday 7

February (at the latest), and ends Friday 12 April (90-102 half-days)


2024 Mainland’s seeding event- 18 February 2024- ILT Stadium Southland- enter via info@volleysouth.org.nz  9 Feb 2024 - onlyteams entered n Mainlands can attend this event


Week 1. Wednesday 21st  February - please notify info@volleysouth.org.nz by 15 February

2024, if your school or team can’t start this day. It would mean your team or

school would have a double round on 7 March. Does not affect travel teams.
