🏐 Volleyball Tournament Update for Parents & Players 🚌

Dear Parents and Players,

Please read the following important information regarding the upcoming volleyball tournament to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Important Notes for All Participants

Accommodation & Transport:

  • Those not listed on the bus or accommodation are responsible for their travel arrangements, including flights, transport, and accommodation.

  • Everyone must be at the court at the same time as the touring group, as set by your coaches. 

  • Tournament Start: Everyone, including those NOT staying with us, must be at Pioneer Stadium by 7:15 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

Meals:

  • Please bring your breakfast for Saturday and Sunday.

  • Pack a large amount of food to bring on the bus, as we will not be stopping at supermarkets during travel.

  • Do not send money instead of food — please bring actual food to share and eat on the bus.

Lunches & Snacks:

  • If you ordered lunches and snacks, your name will be on your package, and it will be given to you each day.

  • If you did not order, you must bring your food.

  • Please do not expect to queue at cafés during the tournament, as your match schedules will not allow waiting.

  • Players are asked to stay with their teams between matches and avoid leaving the stadium.

Schedule Highlight

  • Friday Night Dinner: 8:00 PM — Spaghetti Bolognese at the accommodation

  • Saturday & Sunday Morning: 6:30 AM — Breakfast downstairs, 7:00 AM — Get dressed and be ready for bus departure

  • Saturday Night Special: 8:00 PM — Valentine’s All-You-Can-Eat at Horby

Friday Bus Departure & Stops

  • The bus picks up Donz with all the food and gear

  • Depart ILT Stadium, Invercargill: 9:30 AM

  • Arrive at Gore Trout: 10:45 AM -Depart from Gore  pick up Lumsden 

  • Stop Balclutha toilets: 11:45 AM  Pick up Catlins

  • Arrive Christchurch (Bealey Quarters): between 5:30 and 7:00 PM

  • Contact Jaxon and Victor to meet at the accommodation upon arrival
