2024 Representative Season

Age Group Criteria:

 Under 15 Grades: Coached by Anastasia (Boys) Manager Suzannah and Warren (Girls) Manager Jacqui -Players must have been born in 2010 or later.

 Under 17 Grades: Coached by Jo (Boys) Manager Julian and Tomoka (Girls) Manager Donz/Kris – Tour Manager Donz -Players must have been born in 2008 or later.

 Under 19 Grades: Coached by Tomas (Girls) Manager Asta and Coached Jo dev coach Joshua / Kyle (Boys) Manager John -Players must have been born in 2006 or later.

 Development Coaches: Jullian, Joshua, Kyle

10 April Trial:

U15 (Girls and Boys): 545 PM -7:15 PM – court 2 (have to share this initial court for first trial due to no courts available) Head Coaches: Warren, Anastasia. Managers to check off sign ins Jacqui & Suzannah. Helper coaches: Tomas, Josh, Kyle

Subject: Urgent: Location Change for Representative Trials on 17th April 2024

Dear Representative Players, Coaches, Parents, and Caregivers,

We have an urgent update regarding the upcoming representative trials scheduled for 17th April 2024.

Location Change:Due to a scheduling conflict at ILT Stadium Southland, all trials will now be held at Southland Girls High School gym.

Parking Information:Please note that there is no parking available at the school due to maintenance. Kindly park at the Swimming Pool Splash Palace and enter through the back gate to access the courts.

Communication Updates:We have sent bulk emails via our Sporty CRM to players, parents, and next of kin, and have also updated our Facebook and website with this information. We kindly ask you to pass this message along to ensure everyone is informed.

Trial Schedule for 17th April:

Selection Criteria: We will be selecting 10 players per age group and gender to represent Volley South in Dunedin on May 10-11, 2024. A squad of up to 15 players will be chosen. The final 10 will be selected within 2-3 trainings based on:

For U15, U17, U19, the Lower South Island Rep Age Group Tournament in Dunedin (May 10-12) is planned

Events and Costs:

We believe in ensuring accessibility for all participants regardless of financial constraints.

 For U15, U17, U19, the Lower South Island Rep Age Group Tournament in Dunedin (May 10-12) is planned, with RSO funding of $300 per child applied for if approved this will cover most of the costs, plus we are applying for funding for the buses)

 There's potential for U17 and/or U19 participants to attend the VNZ IPC in June 2024, with funding and fundraising efforts underway.

 Men and women participants will attend the VNZ Clubs in October, with efforts to minimize costs.
