Volley South is proud to endorse the Tautai A’e Open Men’s Fundraiser Tournament on Saturday, 23 May, under the Volley South Members Fundraising Policy.

This event is part of the Samoan Independence Day fundraising efforts, and the support has been incredible — selling out within minutes with the venue capped at just 8 teams.

Huge credit to Sone and the organising team for creating such a high-demand event.

This tournament will also serve as the final warm-up for our IPC representative players, who depart on 29 May. It is a great opportunity for our athletes to get quality game time before heading away.

Event Format

Everyone must be on site by 7:30 am, except Wakatipu.

Welcome: Tautai A’e

Warm-up: 7:45 am

Games start: 8:00 am

Format: Three-set rolling games

Pack-down: We must be fully packed up and out by 6:00 pm

Organisers reserve the right to adjust the format if games are running behind.

Two score sheet options will be available:

• FIVB full scoresheet for training and practice purposes
• Basic scoresheet for those not yet ready to complete full FIVB scoring

Duty

Each team must provide full duty:

• 1st referee
• 2nd referee
• Two line judges
• Scorer
• Flipper

Tautai A'e will have food for sale. Bring cash.

Please note the new SGHS Gym food policy:

❌ No food is to be consumed inside the gym

❌ No Chewing Gym

✅ All food and drinks must be consumed outside the gym area.
